⁴ But we will ^(A)devote ourselves to prayer and to the ^[a]ministry of the word.” ⁵ The ^[b]announcement found approval with the whole ^[c]congregation; and they chose ^(B)Stephen, a man ^(C)full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, and ^(D)Philip, Prochorus, Nicanor, Timon, Parmenas, and ^[d]Nicolas, a ^[e](E)proselyte from ^(F)Antioch. ⁶ And they brought these men before the apostles; and after ^(G)praying, they ^(H)laid their hands on them.
