Genesis 50:9-11

⁹ And both chariots and horsemen went up with him. And they were an exceedingly great company.

¹⁰ And they came to Goren Atad (which is beyond Jordan); and there they made a great and exceedingly severe lamentation. And he mourned for his father for seven days.

¹¹ And when the Canaanites (the inhabitants of the land) saw the mourning in Goren Atad, they said, “This is a great mourning to the Egyptians.” Therefore, the name thereof was called “Abel Mizraim,” which is beyond Jordan.
